Dear CARL members,

We are working through many of the details of the CARL 2022 Conference and have some updates and a request.

Covid Vaccination and Protocols

The CARL Executive Board, in consultation with the Conference Planning Team, will require attendees/presenters/vendors/guests to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or as an accommodation, the results of a negative COVID-19 test taken 48-72 hours before the conference. Proof of vaccination and/or negative test results are to be presented by attendees/presenters/vendors/guests upon check-in.  Attendees/presenters/vendors/guests who are unable to attend on account of a positive test result will be offered a full refund after submitting proof of their positive test result.  All attendees/presenters/vendors/guests will be asked to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status.

The Conference Planning Team has also developed health and safety guidelines you can find on the website. Any updates will be posted to this page, as needed.

Conference Session Proposals

As a result of the discussions around Covid protocols, we’ve decided to extend the deadline for conference proposals to after the first of the year. We hope this will allow for more time for individuals and organizations to make decisions about conference travel in the coming year.

Conference Attendance Feedback

With updated guidelines regarding Covid vaccinations and guidelines, your feedback is necessary to move forward with conference planning. Please take a moment to complete this 3 question survey.
